.ua (2nd level) registrations

WIPO or Ukraine Trademark with exact name as domain name is required for both companies and individuals. To register a .ua domain on second level, you have to have an identical trademark. For example: with the trademark “cooldrink” it is possible to register cooldrink.ua but not cooldrink-online.ua.

There are three documents which can be accepted by the .ua registry:

WIPO trademark with designation to Ukraine - Ukrainian trademark - license agreement between trademark holder and licensee.

This agreement must be registered in Ukrainian trademark authority Institute of Industrial Property.
Domain Transfer Details
Transfer Procedure
- Transfer requests for .ua domains can be initiated with an auth-code. You need to request the auth-code from the current registrar and provide it to us.
- After a successful transfer, the domain will be automatically extended by 1 year.
Transfer Notes
- The current registrar might send an FOA email to the registrant of the domain after the transfer has been requested. It’s important that the registrant responds positively to this email as the transfer could be suspended otherwise.
