Transfer Procedure
- A .ai domain transfer can be initiated with a so-called authorisation code, which can be obtained from the current registrar through the owner or Admin-C of the domain.
- A .ai domain transfer can also be initiated without authcode. The losing registrar has to confirm or reject the transfer of the domain within 7 days.
- A special transfer fee will be charged. A transfer may or may not include a renewal of 2 years (this is the only accepted interval by the registry). If you choose to also renew the domain upon transfer, the renewal will also be charged.
