Domain Transfer Details
Transfer Procedure
- The transfer of a .world domain to another registrar is initiated by submitting a transfer request with the respective authorization code. The losing registrar is notified automatically and will send an email to domain contacts with options to approve or deny the transfer. Without explicit action, the transfer finalizes after 5 days.
Transfer Notes
- To transfer a .world domain, you will need an authorization code, which you can obtain from the current registrar through the owner or admin contact of the domain. Ensure the domain does not have a transfer lock status in WHOIS. If a client-side lock is in place, the owner can request the current registrar to remove it.
