Domain Transfer Details
Transfer Procedure
- A .org.af domain transfer is started either with an authorisation code or without one. The transfer must be confirmed or denied within 7 days by the current registrar.
Transfer Notes
- Due to sanctions affecting Afghanistan, new registrations, transfers-in, and explicit renewals of .af domains are not accepted.
- Existing domains will remain active on your account with the same expiration date, without expiring, upon reaching their paiduntil date.
- To initiate the deletion of a domain, send an explicit delete command or contact the support team.
Authorization Codes
- A .org.af domain transfer can be initiated with an authorisation code, which can be obtained from the current registrar through the owner or Admin-C of the domain.
- A .org.af domain transfer can also be initiated without an authcode. The losing registrar has to confirm or reject the transfer of the domain within 7 days.
- A special transfer fee will be charged. A transfer does not include a renewal and will not extend the expiration date.
