- CNNIC Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy and Rules
- The owner’s name on .net.cn domain registrations must exactly match the name on official identification or company registration certificates. CNNIC prohibits .net.cn domain names from being used in ways that:
- Are counter to the PRC Constitution principles, endanger national security, leak state secrets, seek to overturn the government, or disrupt state integrity
- Harm national honor and national interests
- Instigate hostility or discrimination between nationalities, or disrupt the national solidarity
- Violate the PRC’s religion policies or propagate cult and feudal superstition
- Spread rumors, disturb public order, disrupt social stability, spread pornography, obscenity, gambling, violence, murder, terror, or instigate crimes
- Insult, slander others, or infringe upon others’ legal rights and interests
- Engage in any other actions prohibited by laws, rules, and administrative regulations of the PRC
- Additional requirements apply for .net.cn domains where the webserver is located within mainland China. A valid ICP number from MIIT is required, and domain certificates can be requested from the registrar.
