- O-Handles are not allowed. First and last name required.
- If you are using JP as country code in one of the contact handles (owner, admin, tech or billing contact), the field "state" becomes mandatory and has to contain the 2digit JISX040 (ISO 3166-2:JP) prefecture code.
- In case a Japanese address is used, the correct Japanese zip code format (XXX-XXXX) has to be used.
- The city needs to match the zip-code. Including the prefecture name in the street address is optional.
- A specific phone number format also has to be used in case of a Japanese address. The correct format is 4912345678 instead of 004912345678 or +4912345678 for example.
- The telephone number for a Japanese contact needs to be a valid Japanese phone number. Japanese phone numbers typically begin with specific prefixes for home/office phone numbers or with 070/080 for mobile numbers. Some prefix examples being the following: Tokyo -> 03 Osaka -> 06 Kyoto -> 075
