Domain Transfer Details
Transfer Procedure
- The domain transfer is submitted to the registry and the losing registrar receives automatic notification. The losing registrar may inform the domain contacts, providing options to approve/deny the transfer. Absence of explicit approval/denial will result in automatic transfer completion after 5 days.
Transfer Notes
- A .forex domain transfer must be initiated with an authorisation code (auth-code) obtained from the current registrar through the owner/admin contact of the domain. Ensure that no lock-status (clientTransferProhibited / serverTransferProhibited) exists. If there’s a client-side transfer lock, the owner must have the lock removed. If neither explicitly approved nor denied, the transfer will be auto-finalized after 5 days.
