Registration Restrictions
- Donuts registry: Extended validation according to the OFAC list. A new validation has been added where user introduces the state or province for countries sanctioned by the government of the USA, such as Crimea. Transfer Procedure
- The transfer process for .care domains includes automatic notifications to the losing registrar, who then sends an email to the domain owner/admin with options to approve or deny the transfer. The domain’s auth-code needs to be provided during the transfer request. The transfer will proceed automatically if no action is taken within 5 days.

- A .care domain transfer must be initiated with an authorization code, which can be obtained from the current registrar through the owner/admin contact of the domain. Ensure the domain is not locked for transfer by checking its status in WHOIS. If the domain is locked, the owner can request the current registrar to remove the lock. Domain transfers are typically completed within 5 days if not explicitly approved or denied.
