Domain Transfer Details

Transfer Procedure

  • The .ar registry does not operate a registrar model, so conventional domain transfers are not available.
  • To bring your .ar domain under our management, the domain owner data must be updated at the registry and our trustee must be designated as the responsible entity.
  • Log in at nic.ar using your CUIL or CUIT number and the corresponding password.
  • Follow the transfer instructions on the registry website — only the first six steps are required.
  • Enter our trustee ID 50244773548 during the process.
  • Once entered, our trustee will accept the transfer and we will take over management of your domain.
  • Please contact our support team directly to initiate the process.

Transfer Notes

  • TransferDomain is not available for .ar domains.
  • Restores for .ar domains are not possible.

  • .ar domains cannot be deleted explicitly. To delete, set the domain renewal mode to AUTODELETE or AUTOEXPIRE.
