- The transfer must be initiated with an authorisation code (auth-code), which can be obtained from the current registrar through the domain’s owner/admin contact. After the transfer request is submitted to the registry, the losing registrar is notified. They, in turn, inform the domain owner/admin contact of the transfer via email. If not explicitly approved or denied within 5 days, the transfer will automatically proceed.
