Registration Restrictions

  • If a domain is on the Protected Names List, you have to request an authcode prior to the main registration request. This can only be done on the following website: http://activate.your.feedback/.
  • By default, all .feedback domain names resolve to the .feedback value-added platform. This platform is a SaaS solution for sharing and receiving reviews from customers. This is the case, irrespective of the DNS servers added by the registrant. Standard registrations under .feedback will be delegated to anycast.io nameservers. It is possible to configure a .feedback domain name so that it is delegated in the DNS to the provided nameservers (called a self-service domain) which may incur additional costs.

Domain Transfer Details

Transfer Procedure

  • The transfer is submitted to the registry and the losing registrar is notified. The losing registrar sends an email to the owner and admin contact with the options to approve/deny the transfer. If no explicit action is taken, the transfer finalizes after 5 days.

Transfer Notes

  • A .feedback domain transfer must be initiated with an authorization code (auth code), which can be obtained from the current registrar. Ensure that the domain does not have a lock status (clientTransferProhibited and/or serverTransferProhibited). For domains with a client-side transfer lock, the owner can request the current registrar to remove the lock.

  • The format for auth codes requires a minimum length of 16 characters and a maximum length of 48 characters.
