Transfer Procedure
- The transfer is submitted to the registry and the losing registrar is automatically notified. The losing registrar informs the owner/admin contact about the transfer, including options to approve or deny the transfer. If not explicitly approved or denied, the transfer is finalized after 5 days.
Transfer Notes
- A .dance domain transfer must be initiated with an authorisation code (auth-code) which can be obtained from the current registrar through the owner/admin contact of the domain. Ensure that the domain does not have a lock-status (clientTransferProhibited and/or serverTransferProhibited) visible in WHOIS. If the domain is client-side locked, the owner can ask the current registrar to remove this lock. These procedures apply only for domain transfers between registrars.
