Transfer Procedure
- A .com.af domain transfer can be initiated with an authorization code, which can be obtained from the current registrar through the owner or Admin-C of the domain.
- A .com.af domain transfer can also be initiated without an authorization code. The losing registrar has to confirm or reject the transfer within 7 days.
- A special transfer fee will be charged. A transfer does NOT include a renewal and will NOT extend the expiration date.
Transfer Notes
- Due to sanctions affecting Afghanistan, new registrations, transfers-in, and explicit renewals of .af, .com.af, .org.af, and .net.af domains are not accepted.
- Existing domains under management will not expire on reaching their expiration date; however, explicit delete commands can be sent if you want a domain to expire.
