Domain Transfer Details
Transfer Procedure
- The transfer starts with a request and an authorization code. The losing registrar informs the owner/admin with an option to approve or deny the transfer. Without any explicit action, the transfer is auto-completed after 5 days. A successful transfer will result in the domain being locked for transfer for 60 days by the registry.
Transfer Notes
- A .baby domain transfer must be initiated with an authorization code, which can be obtained from the current registrar through the owner/admin contact of the domain. Ensure the domain is not locked for transfer. If client-side locked, owner can request the registrar to remove the lock. The transfer process will follow the standard procedures of domain transfers, where the losing registrar notifies the owner, and if not explicitly approved or denied, the transfer finalizes in 5 days.
