Registration Restrictions

  • As of October 27, 2020, internal handling has changed so that registration requests are no longer in ‘pending’ state. Instead, we simulate a real-time registration. You can now manage .AM domains immediately after registration, such as adjusting nameservers.
  • Domain registration requests can be declined by the .AM registry, a full refund is provided in such cases.
  • All .AM domain names managed via anycast.io have a Whois Privacy service in place that cannot be removed.
  • A minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 nameservers are required.
  • The same contact handle can be used for Owner, Admin, Tech, Billing.
  • Using bogus data in contact handles is not allowed; they must contain real data. For example, using ‘Domain Administrator’ as a name is prohibited.
  • The owner contact details must be stated in full length, no initials are accepted from the registry.
